History of the Cold War

World War 2 had come to a close. However, a larger-stakes conflict was brewing in its wake. It wasn't another war, it was a series of heated political and military muscle-flexing, with the ultimate threat of nuclear armageddon. From the last half of the 1940s to the end of the 1980s, experience the many battles and doomsday scenarios that happened, and realize the ones that could have but miraculously didn't.

The Cold War encompassed the world in much the same way World War 2 did. Play as the democratic NATO states, the communist Warsaw Pact states, the newly-stablilized communist China, and newly-instituted Jewish state Israel, and take each side to victory in Campaign or Skirmish modes.

Scenarios you will face include, but are not limited to, the Berlin Airlift of 1947, the Korean War in 1950-53, the Vietnam Conflict in 1963-75, the Six-Day War in 1967, and Operation: Mongoose, the aborted mission to invade Cuba with full military contingents.
